At XOESE, the Francophone Women’s Fund, we are committed to advancing the feminist agenda within Francophone countries, but also throughout the rest of the world. Through our campaigns, we aim to catalyze the progression of gender equality by working with international organizations, the private and public sectors, our partners, individual women and their innovative ideas, and more. For the first time in 26 years, a world conference on women’s rights is being held: the Generation Equality Forum (GEF). The forum kicked off in Mexico City in March and will finish in Paris in June of 2021. To facilitate the success of this major event, XOESE, the Francophone Women’s Fund has launched the JE M’ENGAGE! campaign alongside the Fund for Congolese Women.
- In February 2021, XOESE launched the first edition of its Institute on Professional Leadership of Young Women, which works to empower young women with innovative projects to embark on the entrepreneurial career through technical, professional, and financial support.
- XOESE created the Francophone Prize for Gender Equality in 2020. The purpose of this prize is to recognize the extraordinary work of Francophone activists, often in the shadows, and to increase the visibility of their exceptional achievements.
