As part of CAMP FEA, XOESE is organizing a MEET-UP on the theme “Resource Mobilization Initiatives for Feminist Civil Society Organizations“, on Friday, June 09, 2023, from 6pm to 9pm GMT in hybrid online and in Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire) in the conference room of the ONOMO Abidjan Airport Hotel.
The main objective of this meet-up is to enable panelists to share experiences and good practices in resource mobilization for CSOs in Francophone Africa, and to discuss the challenges and opportunities related to this mobilization. Panelists could also explore innovative ways of mobilizing financial and non-financial resources for CSOs with a view to strengthening the work of feminist organizations.
CAMP FEA presentation
The inter-regional institute CAMP FEA: MOBILIZING FINANCIAL AND NON-FINANCIAL RESOURCES, is an institute created by XOESE with the aim of providing spaces for exchange and sharing in order to strengthen women’s organizations, movements and activists.
The concept of “CAMP FEA” was chosen to illustrate how the training sessions within the “Feminists in Action” project are intended to be. Indeed, given that these are short sessions, just like bootcamps, which are intensive training sessions.
