About ROFAF
The Réseau des Organisations Féminines d’Afrique Francophone (ROFAF) is an international, non-political, non-profit, non-governmental organization created on July 28, 2006 whose mission is to mobilize financial resources to advance women’s rights in Francophone Africa. The objectives of ROFAF are to:
- To financially support the implementation of the initiatives of its member organizations;
- Strengthen the institutional capacities of its member organizations;
- Work for the respect of women’s rights in Francophone Africa.
ROFAF started its activities in 2008 and remained operational until 2014. It remained passive until then.
We would like to relaunch it with the co-organization of the Francophone Forum 2023 of XOESE.
OBJECTIVES AND MAIN TASKS
Working under the supervision of the Founder of ROFAF and President of XOESE, the Coordinator is mainly responsible for
- Develop the plan for the revival of ROFAF activities and coordinate its implementation
- Reinvigorate the members
- Convene the General Assembly of members to restore its organs
- Co-organize the 2023 Francophone Forum with XOESE
