Warikow… My relationship with money: Re-examining our financial approach for lasting impact.
We are delighted to announce the launch of the “Warikow… My relationship with money” campaign scheduled for June 27, 2023. This initiative, supported by the XOESE Fund, aims to:
- Raise awareness and engage actresses in the movement in an in-depth reflection on the money they receive in the form of subsidies for their initiatives.
- The campaign aims to help them understand where these funds come from, reconsider their relationship with this donated money and think about how to use it in the most optimal way.
The official launch of the campaign will take place on June 27 at 2:30 pm, online on the Zoom platform on the theme “What is the relationship of women’s rights activists and organizations with money?” We warmly invite all members of women’s organizations and activists to join us for this stimulating event.
The “Warikow… My relationship with money” campaign will include a series of concrete actions to..:
- Encourage the creation of spaces for reflection and discussion around this crucial theme.
- Offer online discussion sessions to enable female members of the movement to share their experiences, concerns and ideas about the financial management of their projects.
- A digital campaign will also be launched to raise awareness of the importance of rethinking our financial approach.
We have high hopes for the positive impact of this campaign. We expect the women involved in the movement to understand the origin of the funds they receive in the form of grants, and to become aware of the importance of their financial management. We also hope that this initiative will enable participants to re-examine their personal relationship with the money they receive in grants, and to find innovative ways of using it to best effect in achieving their goals. Ultimately, we aspire to create a more financially aware and responsible community, capable of maximizing the impact of every grant received.
